Wedding Reception - October 10, 2010

Jeff,
I just wanted to thank you for playing at our wedding. You guys were amazing!! I'm so glad that I found you guys because you definitely made the reception. Having First Impression there definitely kept people on the dance floor. We got so many compliments on the band and it just made the whole evening so special. As a musician myself, I was worried about getting the right music for the reception, and I definitely didn't have to worry about anything with you guys! You just went with the flow and made it all feel so professional and put together. I really appreciate you going with our timeline, even though it changed as the evening went along.

And what a send-off!!! Love Train was the PERFECT way to end the evening. I won't forget that for a long time. The limo driver said we were the first couple he'd ever seen dance out to our limo! We just got proofs of our pictures back and it was so great to see everyone having such a wonderful time dancing. There are some really neat ones of the band too that you might actually want. I can send those along as soon as we get the original files if you'd be interested.

Thanks again for EVERYTHING! I will definitely be reccommeding First Impression to anyone I can.

Talk about a first class professional group of people! Jeff is as easy to work with as anyone that I’ve met and he always has your best intentions in mind. Leave your worries behind because Jeff plays Master of Ceremonies which makes everything transition extremely smoothly. The band learned a new song for our first dance and pulled it off perfectly. The quality of music is second to none. All members are very accomplished musicians meaning they play all styles very well from funk, to blues, to jazz, to rock to big band to ballads and they can adapt accordingly. They are fun, energetic, and know what to play and when to play it to keep the party going and keep the people on the dance floor. Young and old alike were up dancing and if they couldn't dance, they were toe tappin in their chairs. One of those bands that you could just sit back and enjoy. The quality of the band was all people talked about during the reception and for weeks afterwards. Jamie and I can't thank you all enough and please send anyone my way if you are looking for a recommendation.

The vocalists were just amazing, and all the instruments were killer......loved your keyboards and that sax.....wow! Many thanks for adding so much to the party and for handling the MC duties so seamlessly. Your playing the music for Jessica and Jon's surprise cha-cha was PERFECT-------my hat's off to you for pulling that off! (Can you tell she's a dancer?? I just KNEW she'd do something like that!! hehe)

The band was absolutely fabulous. They were also flexible. My son-in-law is an amateur percussionist, and they welcomed him sitting in. When I forced my daughter onstage to have her picture taken with her new husband on the drumset, the singers grabbed her and she sang half the set with them. It was the hit of the night.

Fundraiser - Carter's Crusade - January 26, 2008

OH MY GOSH! You are fabulous. The First Impression Band offered an amazing performance for our black tie fund-raiser. We feel fortunate to have "stumbled" upon The First Impression Band. Our event had attendance of about 350 guests and I have heard nothing but fantastic reviews from our guests. What a professional, yet fun group of entertainers. I am so pleased with the event in whole, but I feel that the entertainment was the key to a successful and memorable evening. We can not thank you enough for a superb performance. We will definitely not only recommend The First Impression Band, but will use them again in the future!

I want to thank you guys for playing at our wedding. I knew you were going to be good from your demo, but you guys were phenomenal. Most of my friends that attended the wedding are musicians, and we couldn't get over how tight you were. The bass player was especially outstanding at times.

Typically, my friends and relatives do not dance. You guys made it irresistible to get out there and shake it. We have so many great pictures of our guests dancin' on into the night. Because of your band, what would have been a memorable occasion, turned into what almost everyone said was "the best wedding that they had ever been to". I can't thank you enough for that. Jeff, Just a note to thank you and your band for making John and Kristen's wedding celebration so perfect. It was uncanny, with the few contacts we had made with you beforehand, and yet you seemed to know what we (and the crowd) wanted. It was great to see such enthused responses on the dance floor. The professionalism and talent that was exemplified on every single piece played throughout the reception. I can't say enough about your singers, who were perfect as well. If you ever need a written reference, feel free to call on us at any time. I'm sure, however, you already have plenty. On the evening of and and the days that have since followed, one after another asked, "Where did you find that band?" We hope to catch you sometime in the near future when I am able to just sit down, relax, and enjoy your sounds. Maybe you'll get another wedding up this way that I can crash :). My only regret was that my father-in-law wasn't there to hear YOUR "special" version of his favorite song. ( He is starting to feel much better now). I'M SURE HE WOULD HAVE LOVED IT!! We wanted to thank you for all that you did for our wedding! We still have guests telling us about how much they loved the band. So many people said it was the best wedding they had been to and we know it was due largely to First Impression. The music was phenomenal and you guys were able to work with the guests in such a great way! The Led Zeppelin song blew us away! When I asked about it I never expected it to be so amazing!
